In Conversation: Venerable Robina Courtin with Scott Snibbe on Karma (Live-Streamed via Tse Chen Ling)

Wednesday, October 28, 2020 , 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Venerable Robina Courtin and Scott Snibbe

Beloved Buddhist nun and teacher Venerable Robina Courtin returns to Tse Chen Ling for a dialogue on karma with Scott Snibbe, host of A Skeptic’s Path to Enlightenment podcast. Ven. Robina and Scott will discuss the ways in which karma makes sense from a scientific and psychological perspective: how each time we speak, think, or act, it deepens a neurological habit.

Robina and Scott will also debate the elements of karma that are harder to accept and understand, including the age-old questions of why bad things happen to good people, and why we are each born into the world with such wildly different levels of resources and freedoms.

This event will be presented simultaneously via Facebook livestream on Tse Chen Ling’s Facebook page and via Zoom to a limited number of Tse Chen Ling ordained sangha and community members who will be invited to participate in the discussion.  Listeners on Facebook are encouraged to ask questions during the livestream.

Tse Chen Ling is dedicated to offering this program for free on Facebook to open it up to as many students and listeners as possible.  If you are able, please consider being a sponsor or making a donation to this program.

Video streamed worldwide via Facebook Live at Tse Chen Ling’s Facebook Page and A Skeptic’s Path to Enlightenment’s Facebook Page.
