A calming guided meditation on the clear nature of the mind using an analytic visualization of an alpine lake to help connect with the subtler part of our consciousness that lies beneath thoughts, perceptions, and feelings.

The meditation goes through several sections: Motivation, Refuge in our Inner Best Qualities, Stabilizing on the Breath, Analytic Meditation on the Clarity of the Mind Like a Mountain Lake, and Dedication.

Recorded from a Facebook live-streamed meditation session on May 4, 2020 for the Gyuto Foundation in Richmond, California by Scott Snibbe, host of A Skeptic’s Path to Enlightenment Podcast.
